Ernesto Kahan is a medical doctor, university professor and a poet. He is Vice President of the World Academy of Arts and Culture and a Professor at universities in Argentina, Israel, Peru, Dominican Republic, Mexico, USA and Spain. He served as Director of the Ministry of Health in Argentina and after moving to Israel served as Deputy Director of Rabin Medical Center, Head of the Department of Epidemiology at the Institute of Occupational Health of Tel Aviv University and Director of Medical Academic Branch of the International Institute. As a prized poet, Ernesto’s works have been published in many languages in books and anthologies including the acclaimed “Los Escritores del Alba”. He has served multiple years as Vice President of the Wold Congress of Poets. Professor Kahan was Vice President of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War when in 1985 the organization won the Nobel Peace Prize and has received many noteworthy awards including the Schweitzer Peace Award and Best Poem award from the International Association of Writers and Artists.
